Memorial Weekend !

Normally we go camping on Memorial weekend, but this year we stayed home. We had an open house and a Patio Party this weekend. Breanna got her first taste of pickle this weekend

We have been waiting in excitement to see her facial expression after her first taste of pickle. We were disappointed that we didn't get he reaction that we thought we would. She actually liked it.

She still will not roll from her Back to her Belly for me. When I walk out of the room she does it. I have sat and watched her for an hour and never once has she rolled to her belly for me. On Friday she played Hide and go Seek with mom. Mom was reading the paper and looked over and Bree was hiding under the couch. All she could see was an arm and a leg sticking out. She was so concerned about getting her out she never got a picture.

Tommy's Graduation

Yesterday My Brother Tommy graduated from Cheasaning High School. Mark Breanna and myself went to the ceremony.
When I added this picture to the slide show it kept cutting Bree off. Here are some pictures from last night.

Outdoor Fun

Now that it's finally warm out we have been enjoying the fresh air. We go for walks all the time. Breanna got this play pen as a gift from Dale and Wendy a couple of weeks ago and we finally made good use out of it. If you are unable to read her shirt it says " When God made me He was just showing off" Mom picked that up for her and I thought it was so cute. Well we are off to Tommy's Graduation so look forward to more pictures soon !

Grandpa's Girl

Breanna is smitten with Men Daddy, Uncle Eric and Grandpa are her favorites Daddy of course is her number one guy but she is clearly a Grandpa's Girl. She loves to make faces at him and reach out for him. Dad and Jackie rode the Bike over so Breanna got a picture with Grandpa on it. She was too busy looking at Dad and the shinny Bike to look at me.

Mother's Day !

This being my First Mother's Day was different then most. Normally I go to my mom's and help her plant flowers or do some sort of yard work and Mark goes to his mom's and cooks lunch and does some sort of work around the house for her. This Year we had a cook out at my Mom's and Sue Joined us.My mother in law has been coming to my mom's for all the gatherings and I really enjoy it. It saves the running between both places and we enjoy her company. We had a nice time and I was able to finally get a picture of Mom and Breanna together. I want to take a picture with Grandma, Mom, Myself and Bree ,but it never happens. I also got a shot of Mom's 3 granddaughters together.

Breanna's 5 months old

My Baby Girl is 5 months old...It's so hard to believe that 22 weeks have went by since she came into this world. Let me see if I can update you on her progress developmentally.She had been working on rolling over and is getting better and better. Last night she rolled on to her belly twice in her sleep. When I noticed I roller her back on her back and to her tummy she went again.She slept really good on her tummy. I was just nervous. She can sit by herself for only a few seconds before she reaches for a toy and turns herself into a pretzel. Yesterday while she was in her tub she was sitting up and playing with her rubber ducky. It was so cute, but the pictures didn't turn out. She has discovered how to squeal and is perfecting it every day. I keep checking on her because I think she is hurt and she just Smiles. We did get a Jumperoo and boy does she love it. Between the exersaucer and the Jumperoo she keeps herself busy. She is working on some teeth. I could really see a nice bump on the bottom, but now it's went down or the rest has swollen to match. She loves to chew on everything. It kind of reminds me of when Tippy was a puppy with all her drool. Pulling hair is one of her favorite things to do. She has been pulling you into her for kisses and to snuggle. It is so precious. We Enjoy her so much ! When Mark leaves or leans in to give me a kiss she opens her mouth and looks at him waiting for hers. It's funny some times she will slime your check when she turns in to kiss you. She has been learning so much it's hard to remember everything. She has now officially ate every kind of baby food except Prunes. She is getting really good at eating food. Messy but good.

Updating Everyone !

I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I would try my best to get everyone caught up. Breanna had her 4 month check up on the 23rd. She weighed in at 16 lbs 8 oz and is 25 3/4 inches long. She has grown alot in the 19 weeks since her birth. Normally I don't care for the Dr. much. I always felt like I was on trial when I went in there. (Mark went with us once and said I was over reacting.) This time I actually liked him. I think it's all depends on my insecurity's as a mother. He said she is doing great Mentally and physically! Of course I was pleased.
She rolls around in circles and will flip from her back to her side then her stomach but she hasn't mastered how to do it all the time. She still struggles.
She is starting to lean in towards the person she wants to pick her up. Mark changed his shift and last week in the evenings when he was here she always wanted him to hold her. When he holds her she gets this look on her face. On Saturday we went and visited My friend Ashley and her kids. Monty was born 4 days before Breanna and we like to take pictures when they get together.He has such a nice complexion and I would love if Breanna had half that hair. I thought her hair was growing so good until she is in a picture with him.
They were holding hands before this picture. While we were visiting Bree got the opportunity to check out a new toy that she fell in love with. NOW I'm going to hunt Garage sales for a Jump a roo. Oh Sunday we had our first BBQ and I discovered yet another item I need to by a Pack N Play. So I'm on the hunt to see what I can find.
