Busy Busy Weekend

We had a very Busy weekend. My weekend started on Thursday. Bree and I did a little shopping at the garage sales in the early afternoon where the best deal I found was a new Baby monitor for .50 cents.It works great and mine just died so it was perfect. Then we headed into the office for a couple of hours so I could do a little work at the office and visit. Bree was so well behaved and did great. Everyone seemed to love her!
After we left the office we headed to my Aunt Donna's house. My Uncle Bruce was flying in from Seattle and Mark was on his way to Donna's with him. I was so excited to see him. When he arrived I was busy in the spare room so I didn't get a chance to see Bree's reaction to him or his to her. When I came out he was loving on her.
She seems to love her Unc Pa. We call him Unc Daddy so of course he is Unc Pa to her.

Friday morning I got up with Mark at 4:30 and did my work from home on the Internet and by 8:00 we were off to the garage sales. Ashley had the festival and so We walked all over town scouting out the deals. I ended up empty handed on the clothing for Bree. I found 1-6 month clothing and 2T-UP, but nothing in the sizes she needs. She's going to be in 9 months at the end of July- August and I really don't have much, but I did get a high chair.I had to call Eric to come pick it up for me. We were able to do some visiting with my cousins that afternoon and friends from school that night.

Saturday we got up and got our fishing stuff around to head to the Dam. Grandpa wanted his ashes spread at the dam and for all of us to have a pole in the water so we opened Breanna's pole and got our reel's on fishing rods. Grandpa bought Mark and I really nice Reels for our wedding and we never got them on rod's until Friday night. As for Bree Grandpa had Aunt Donna get Bree one before he passed away. Breanna was only 1 week old when he died, but he got her a Pink Barbie pole. When we got there she was sleeping so Mark and I went over to Our Spot were we always took Grandpa and tried to catch a fish. Nether one of us ended up with anything.

We headed up to the Parade when we left Elsie and from there we headed to Tommy's Open house. The food was so good.Decorations were great. It was one of the best Open houses I have been to in a while. I didn't get very many pictures though.

Back to Ashley we headed again. This time to the 50th birthday Party for Donna. While we were there Bruce and Mark decided it was time for Breanna to go for her first quad ride. Bruce said that it was time for her to go for a ride and it was either going to be Mark to take her or him. I chose Mark, but after Mark took her then Unc Pa took her. I wouldn't let just anyone take her, but Bruce took me was I was a little kid so I knew I could trust him.

Wendy and Dale came over to mom's to visit with everyone and I actually got a picture of Wendy and Breanna. They have been together several times and I never get a shot of them.

After all this excitement we had fireworks that night too.I was curious on how Bree would handle it but she didn't seem to mind them one way or the other so We ended up going into the house early before the end of fireworks. We were just too tired.

Well now I'm tired just typing this and I didn't even add Sunday into the story ! It was a very fun weekend. Busy and Fun. Mark was home Saturday and Sunday so that gave us Bonus Family Time !!

Mark's Birthday !

Mark's Birthday was Saturday so I decided to make the annual German Chocolate Cake for him. This year we added Candles for Breanna to enjoy. She didn't' know what to think of the flame. We went out to dinner with Mark's mom, brother and nephew. They restaurant staff sang Happy Birthday to Mark and while he was embarrassed Bree loved it.She really like the restaurant with all the people.She also became a fan of her Uncle Dave. She kept staring at him. The family resemblance is very strong between Mark and Dave and I think it confused her. at the end of our dinner Our nephew Julian came over and started playing with Breanna the next thing I new he said ewww gross and held out his arm. Apparently she tried to kiss on his arm and he ended up with slobber all the way down his arm. Poor kid !! I wish I could have gotten some pictures but the camera was home.

Memorial Weekend !

Normally we go camping on Memorial weekend, but this year we stayed home. We had an open house and a Patio Party this weekend. Breanna got her first taste of pickle this weekend

We have been waiting in excitement to see her facial expression after her first taste of pickle. We were disappointed that we didn't get he reaction that we thought we would. She actually liked it.

She still will not roll from her Back to her Belly for me. When I walk out of the room she does it. I have sat and watched her for an hour and never once has she rolled to her belly for me. On Friday she played Hide and go Seek with mom. Mom was reading the paper and looked over and Bree was hiding under the couch. All she could see was an arm and a leg sticking out. She was so concerned about getting her out she never got a picture.

Tommy's Graduation

Yesterday My Brother Tommy graduated from Cheasaning High School. Mark Breanna and myself went to the ceremony.
When I added this picture to the slide show it kept cutting Bree off. Here are some pictures from last night.

Outdoor Fun

Now that it's finally warm out we have been enjoying the fresh air. We go for walks all the time. Breanna got this play pen as a gift from Dale and Wendy a couple of weeks ago and we finally made good use out of it. If you are unable to read her shirt it says " When God made me He was just showing off" Mom picked that up for her and I thought it was so cute. Well we are off to Tommy's Graduation so look forward to more pictures soon !

Grandpa's Girl

Breanna is smitten with Men Daddy, Uncle Eric and Grandpa are her favorites Daddy of course is her number one guy but she is clearly a Grandpa's Girl. She loves to make faces at him and reach out for him. Dad and Jackie rode the Bike over so Breanna got a picture with Grandpa on it. She was too busy looking at Dad and the shinny Bike to look at me.
