I know it has been away since I got on here and talked about something other then Bre so let's see what else there is in our lives...
In 2010 I had told Mark that he could buy a new car. I'm sure most of you knew about that. He wanted to buy a brand new car and I asked him to wait and we agreed upon a 2010 date. Well he was looking at the new Mustangs and Chargers. After about 2-3 months he decided that it was alot of money to spend on a car that would be parked the majority of the time and then he switched his interest to a new travel trailer. We love to go camping and we could defiantly use a better lay out to our camper. The one we have now sleeps alot of people but just doesn't have the lay out we would like. Well after 2-3 months of that thought he decided that we are going to just recover the cushions and paint our camper to make it look nicer.
Well I'm a penny pincher and I was o.k with the car in 2010 all our debt except the house would be payed off. Well, when he decided a new camper instead I was ok with that(half the price of the car) Well of course he changed his mind again to something even cheaper. Woo hooo I like were this is going.
Well last week he got his new toy. Yes,the new toy. I don't have any pictures of it and haven't seen it really in the day light. His new 2010 purchase some how came in 2009 instead. I can't complain it was the cheapest out of the new things that he wanted and he is the one that will have to work Over Time to pay for it. If you haven't guessed yet Mark got Quad a 2009 Polaris with a plow. I have no idea what color it is.I think Green. I haven't even looked at it in the daylight. I know that is terrible, but I can't ride it right now so I don't want to check it out too much.
As for me let's see... I was hoping that I would have been healed up from the c-section for the most part by now. That is until I slipped the other day I have slipped a total of 4 times since I have been home 1 time inside the rest outdoors. I really haven't been out much it's just so darn icy that a little slip really hurts. Needless to say yesterday I was feeling like I did on my second day home from the hospital and I was out of medicine. We HAD to go to St.Johns 1)so I could get some medicine and 2)to get a stove.
Oh the stove story... Mark went grocery shopping the other night and when I went to pre heat the oven the oven wasn't working. It was a stove we got given to us 3-4 yrs ago and was in ruff condition then. The oven was toast and we weren't surprised. we ran to Dennis Distrubuting where I got my dish washer and the one they had was discusting It just screamed (Mice have lived in me) Yuukk. The oven door didn't even shut good. We were definitly not bringing that home. We went to Kurt's to see what they had for used gas stoves and nothing. After looking at some floor models I asked the salesman what is the cheapet stove you have. "There goes my commision" I'm sure he was thinkning. He pointed out this stove and said this is the cheapest and told us the price. Mark said well that is the same as this one and pointed to this nice back and stainless gas stove. Turns out that it had been dented on the sides. The bumped them out so you don't even notice, but they had to mark it down and sell it as a scratch and dent. I surely didn't care, buy that time my Pain meds kicked in and I was just happy to have some relief.
MY NEW STOVE
We decided it was time to leave Bre.I hadn't left Bre yet and knowing that she will be a month old on the 11th it was time. Mom said she would watch her for us and we zipped off to St.Johns. Getting in the Durango was painful so I set in the car as Mark ran her in. I cried of course until we got half way to St.Johns. Then I was much better. She was in good hands. By the time we got home and Mark got the new stove in the house I was ready to have her back.It had been 4 1/2 hours. I kept asking if he would go get my baby. Finally after he was done going in and out he picked her up and brought her to me before he ran the old stove to the junk yard. The rest of the day yesterday and all of today has a been a lazy one. I need to take it easy so I can get healed faster. It was nice feeling good and being able to have a clean house, but I have to quit caring as much what my house looks like and start to listen to Mark more and take it easy.
I have friends that have never been to my house or have only been 1-2 times. I was always ashamed of it. Now I don't care. I mean yah I don't have any matching counter tops in my Kitchen, but who cares. If you are ever in the area don't mind the mess but swing in and come visit for a few. I promise I will clear the laundry off the table so we can see each other and I will kick the Cat off the chair so you can have a seat.
